(We have yet to have holiday photos taken, so you can just look at the nugget for now.)
I haven't sent out Christmas cards for years, to be completely honest. First of all, I am easily stressed out—even more so during the holidays. Adding one more thing to my plate stresses the heck out of me. Second of all, I refuse to send out cards without photos, and Jay and I rarely have decent photos taken of us together. It's a little depressing, actually. Third of all, I'm a non-decision maker and it takes me forever to settle on what cards to actually send out.
However, considering we are now officially a tiny, little family, I know this year is the year I'm going to finally buckle down and send out Christmas cards to our loved ones! Now that I think about it, I'm a little bit excited.
Anyhow, I was asked to take a peek at the selection of holiday cards over at Shutterfly, and was quite pleased with the gorgeous designs they are offering this year. I've ordered prints (and a photo book!) from Shutterfly in the past, and have always been pleased with the quality, price and quick shipping. I'm very eager to see how the Christmas cards I end up choosing look in person! I knew I wanted to find something unique and colorful, and (although I have yet to make my final decision, as per the usual) I have a feeling I'm going to adore our first family Christmas cards.
Here are a few things I like about the selection over at Shutterfly:
- There are hundreds of designs to choose from, which make it easy to find one to fit your personality.
- When you choose your card, you can order either matte or glossy (I'm a matte girl, so this is really appreciated!). I'm not sure if this goes for all the cards, but the designs I was head over heels for all had that option.
- Typography, typography, typography!
- I've recently discovered the bold and bright style of Erin Condren, and she has a gorgeous line of holiday and New Year cards through Shutterfly. I know many of my bloggy friends swear my her planners (I adore the one I have!), and I'm sure her cards are going to be very popular this year, too.
Here's the best part: Shutterfly has given me the opportunity to give 25 FREE holiday cards to three of my readers! Hurrah!

Yes! Awesome! I've been hemming and hawing over which cards to order from Shutterfly for most of the last week. As such, I'd love a chance to win!! So thanks for providing that chance. :-)
That picture is so adorable! I was just on Shutterfly's website last night looking at potential holiday cards. I love sending mail, and it doesn't hurt that my Mister's father works for the USPS. Gotta support the postal service!
Here's the thing: I LOVE photo holiday cards. LOVE. We're on a tight budget though and after reviewing the prices, cheapo me decided I just can't justify it.
I've lusted over a few of the designs on Shutterfly so yes, thank you for offering the chance to score some artsy deliciousness!
I think this will be the year for Christmas cards for me too!

Maybe this will help me get my act together and send holiday cards! Thanks!
Cute! I never send mine on time so I always pretend I meant them to be happy new year cards!
I always love the idea of sending out Christmas cards, but never actually get around to doing it. This year, though? WITH A BABY? I'm SO sending them out.
Thanks for hosting, Kerri!

I participated in that last year, they were the Best cards. So great I wanted to send the extras out after Christmas just because the design and pictures looked so good.
I forgot all about it this year and Really want to send out some kickass cards again. I was just talking about needing to find out how to Afford it on twitter yesterday. So Winning this would be Perfect.
Shutterfly is my fave! :)
I have never sent Christmas cards before. But I want to start new traditions with me and my love. This would be a perfect one to start. I've always loved getting Christmas cards in the mail. I can't wait to send my own this year now! :)
I love Shutterfly! My new favorite feature is that you can have additional pictures printed on the back of flat cards, so once the holidays are over, people can turn the card over and keep my kiddos' faces up on the fridge all year long! kate1831 @ gmail [dot] com
Can't wait to see pictures of your little family! We've been really indecisive, but definitely want to send some cute cards this year.
Thanks for the chance to win (hopefully it is not too late!) :)
I wish I would have seen this earlier!!!
