I will always be honest about items I am given for free. My views and opinions regarding any product I review are purely my own. Anything you read here is based on my personal experience!

I was given several coupons from the generous folks over at Ben & Jerry's for a few free two-packs of their new "Flipped Out!" ice cream. Aaaaand considering that anything involving ice cream is immediately my new favorite thing of all time, I jumped at the chance to try some!
(If you're going to try some out on your own, I do recommend checking to see where they're sold before you go traipsing around three different stores only to realize it isn't sold at any of them. Gahhhh.)
Anyway, Jay and I finally found some at our local Stater Bros. and decided to get a two-pack for each of us. (Hey, we had free coupons, after all.) And upon initial inspection, I was all, "Dude! These are freaking small!" They are deceptively tiny - that is, until you open one up, turn it upside down, pop the ice cream out onto a plate, see the fudge is dripping down the sides and you're all, "THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!"
(See? Greatest day of my life. The end.)
The way they are set up is kind of neat, actually. There is a sort of hard-shell of chocolate, fudge, ice cream (with peanut butter in mine, and cookie dough in my husband's) and cookie bits - all layered into a cute little pocket-sized sundae. Well, okay, you wouldn't literally want to put in into your pocket, but whatever.
It is the sort of treat you can enjoy in the moment and not feel like crap afterwards. Now I understand why they're so tiny - they are the perfect size to satisfy a sweet tooth without the food guilt afterwards! Of course, since they come with two, it's a little difficult not to rationalize eating the other one right away. I know that upon finishing his first one, my husband immediately said, "Yeah, I kind of want to eat the other one now." They are that gooey and delicious.
Actually, I ate my second one for lunch the other day. Apparently I'm embracing my own food guilt and just going with it.
Here I am, finally getting around to announce the winner of the $50 Gap gift card! Thank you so, so much for all the fabulous jean-ish (or jean-y?) feedback - and thank you to every single person who took the time to enter. I love you guys. Even more than jeans, actually, which is kind of saying a lot.
Feel special.
Anyway, without further ado, I'm happy to announce that the winner of the gift card is the lovely Jennifer, who blogs over here. Hurrah for Jennifer! And here is what she had to say in her comment on the giveaway post:
Congrats Jennifer! You're going to be looking ridiculously awesome in whatever you decide to pick out with your gift card! (I say go for the skinny jeans, then we can be twinsies.) And I totally hear you on being a cheapie girl when it comes to shopping. Amen, sister.
And thank you again to everyone who took the time to enter this giveaway! I wish I could take you all on a Gap shopping spree, but I'm not sure if that's in the cards. But who knows. I'll talk to my people. (Actually, I don't have people. I just like to sound cool. You can ignore me now.)
I was recently given the opportunity to be a Gap Brand Enthusiast - which is, um, the greatest thing ever. Thanks to Gap and Brand About Town, I've been able to get some ridiculously awesome things from Gap (for freee!) and was also able to throw a ridiculously awesome party in Hollywood with a bunch of my friends. Who would have thought that I'd be given such an amazing opportunity, simply because of my blog? Definitely nothing I ever planned on.
Let's just say I've pretty much been in non-stop "SQUEEEE!" mode for a while now.
The party in Hollywood was definitely one of the highlights of this whole thing. I co-hosted my party with Nicole, and had a lovely time! We were pretty much treated like celebrities for an evening, which every girl should experience at least once. (Or seventeen times.) They treated us to dinner at The Ivy beforehand (I was seriously disappointed at the lack of celeb action - I mean, where is an Olsen Twin or Twilight cast member when you need one? SERIOUSLY.) and then we headed over to the Gap store on Robertson Blvd. that was closed to the public for the evening, and open for just the ladies at the party!
Highlights of the evening:
Every person receiving a coupon for a FREE PAIR OF JEANS AHHHH.
Random dudes walking around with mini grilled cheese sandwiches, brownie bits dipped in chocolate, other random tiny foods that were seriously delightful, and mmmm...wine!
Hanging out with a bunch of my friends all under one roof (which was slightly overwhelming because I am SO NOT GOOD at parties and trying to make sure I mingle with everyone - hello, panic attack).
The amazing employees who helped everyone find just the right pair of jeans.
Free digital camera! Free flip video camera! Gahhh!
Taking forever to decide on what pair of jeans to get because I'm apparently a non-decision maker. (Thankfully I was surrounded by a bunch of people who helped me decide on some adorable skinny jeans - as seen in the photos above!)
The whole experience really changed my view of the Gap brand - and I'm not just saying that because they gave me free jeans. Honestly, I haven't really shopped there since I was sixteen and sweater vests were in style (because they had the best sweater vests, obviously). I always saw their clothes as "older" and didn't think that they would really appeal to me as a twenty-something. Also, I am always wary about jeans in general, because shopping for jeans is the devil and I can rarely find a good length or fit.
Having said all that, I definitely recommend this new line of jeans. (Check out all the styles heeeere!) From what I saw, and from the feedback I heard from the other ladies at the party, I know the jeans are high quality - and worth the $60-$70 pricetag. I'm a total cheapskate when it comes to clothes, but I think we all know that when you find the perfect pair of jeans, it's work the little extra. (And these are much cheaper than a freaking designer pair!) I say at least give a pair of these babies a whirl! They had so many fits and styles - all ridiculously gorgeous. And also? I WEAR A SIZE TWO. WHAT. Apparently their sizes run large, so you'll be able to squeeze your bootie into a smaller size than your used to, which, as a female, is definitely good for the soul.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! (Yes, it was necessary for me to scream that information.) I also have a $50 gift card in my hot little hand (no, really, it's seriously hot right now) that I'll be sending to one of my readers! Simply leave a comment telling me your own, personal favorite style of jeans before Monday, Steptember 14 rolls around. (Make sure to leave your email address so I can contact you if you win!) Only one entry per person, puh-lease, and I'll announce the winner on Monday. Excited yet? WELL, I AM!
And in case you're bored (or even if you're not) here's the video I made from our party - enjoy!
